I have had a bit of trouble trying to put together a few cards good enough for a man and this is what I came up with!

Well I am now getting into the christmas spirit and looking outside the square. By doing that I have come up with new Christmas cards using the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper. Who would have thought this is what I would come up with......

With Sympathy...

My husband lost a workmate today to lung cancer. Such a sad way to see someone you work with every day pass away. My husband has asked me to make a sympathy card to give to his family. I thought I would share.

This card has been created using the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set.

Soft suede, Very vanilla, Baja breeze, Old olive cardstock.

Old olive, Close to cocoa ink. Very vanilla ribbon and a brad to dress.

WOW! I have just created my best yet! I found these cards and the box to be simple and easy to create using I hope you like them as much as I do!

Scrapbooking Weddings

Im now finding out how effective scrapbooking can be with a little bit of imagination and the right tools! I had heaps of fun designing my first Stampin' Up! scrapbooking page.
They were effective enough that I had a small class of girls that had gathered together to have a go themselves today.
Here is hubby and me on our wedding day, one of the best days of my life :)

Pun Fun

I am yet to see how far a stamp set can actually stretch but I have had a go at completing a card for each of the stamps just using a black ink pad and a set of chalks and of course cardstock!
I had alot of fun having a play and realised that its easy enough for a child to use as well. So I set up my 2 little ones with paper and the black ink pad and crayons and they had a lot of fun colouring them in. They are 2 and 3 so they are not ready for the chalks just yet...but it wont be long!
